An easy to make health drink, which if included in our menu has many health benefits. This drink can be taken in case of sore throat, common cold and for maintaining good dental health.
Ingredients:
Basil / Thulasi - 8 to 10 leaves,
Ginger chopped - 1 tsp,
Cardamon seeds - 1 tsp,
Jaggery crushed - 1.5 tbsp.
Water - 3 teacups.
Method:
1. Add all the ingredients in a mixer and grind into a paste by adding 2 to 3 tbsps of water only.
2. Add remaining water and blend for a few seconds.
3. Strain the drink and pour into individual cups.
4. For additional sweetness (optional) add a tbsp of honey.
